At the recent Country Music Awards, the word was given that politics would be a topic to avoid, especially considering the tension and division in the country right now.
However, country music superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood either didn’t get the memo, or just didn’t care, because they made sure to clearly reference President Trump in a less-than-flattering song.
The two mocked the president in a parody of another song, which was reworded to insult Trump’s tweeting habits.

The fans, however didn’t find the song to be in good taste, and voiced their displeasure on social media.
Guess I will have to bring out my old 80 music lol even #CMAawards has open there mouth about #Trump don't they remember what happen to the Dixie chicks? Like who are they?
